About Me
I am a mixed media and collage artist who loves trying new art media and developing new projects for magazines. I got serious about my art when my children went to college and I had a lot more time on my hands. My husband and I opened a rubber stamp store in Arkansas and I taught all my classes and it was some of the best times for me since I am basically a huge people person. After a few years, we did get the opportunity to move back home to Texas and now I just do my art full time. My current love is encaustic art, but I am longing to try Zentangles and some other art forms very soon. My daughter, Alisha, is the "other half" of TwoCoolTexans and has her hands full raising two young children. But, hopefully, she will also contribute some art for sale before long.
