How do I configure "My Custom Shipping"?
You can set custom shipping costs in the event that multiple items are purchased from your store in the same transaction. The primary shipping cost is the value of shipping the item alone. The secondary shipping cost is the added value when items are purchased and shipped together ("if shipped with another item"), usually a lesser value.
You can offer Free Shipping by simply entering 0.00 in the shipping costs fields. If you do not enter a shipping cost for the secondary cost field the cost will be 0.00 automatically.
Custom Shipping Cost by Country
You can also set individual shipping cost based on the destination country, simply enter the appropriate values in the corresponding boxes for each country.
EXAMPLE:
- Primary Cost. If you want to charge $5.00 for shipping an item to Mexico, check "Mexico" and enter 5.00 in the Primary Cost field corresponding to Mexico.
- Secondary Cost. If you want to offer a reduced shipping cost for shipping your item with more than one item from your store, enter it here, otherwise, leave it emtpy or enter the same amount from "Primary Cost".
- Important!. Shipping costs will remain the same if no custom costs are entered for each selected country.
