Yellow Dog Farm Spinning...wood and fiber!
Yellow Dog Farm, owned by Jim and Ellen, is located in the town of South Hero, Vermont. South Hero is on the island of South Hero/Grand Isle in the middle of Lake Champlain.
We produce mohair blended yarn and rovings for spinners. yellowdogfarmvt has both hand and mill spun yarn. Much handpainted yarns are created as well. Jim has rediscovered his love of turning wood. He creates fabulous bowls, vases, plates, and platters from all types of wood. Jim has a whole line of "cross-over" items for fiber folk: nostepindes, drop spindles, and shawl pins.

It is spring here in Vermont. The greens are finally coming out. The trees have a reddish glow as the buds move through their stages. And I even saw a crocus in bloom, not at home - but it won'...
