About Me
I have always been an artist and a crafter: I have a vast range of interests, and tend to never drop one interest in favor of another. Rather, I continually learn new skills and rotate through my interests.
On the art side, I have been drawing for as long as I can remember, I've tried my hand at painting and sculpting, but neither fit me well.
On the craft side, my interests have continually expanded throughout my life. In my elementary school years, I learned origami and crochet. I tackled and conquered my mother's sewing machine in middle school, and also learned cake decorating and candy making. My high school years were filled with craft hobbies: calligraphy, lacemaking, chainmaille, jewelry making, scrapbooking & greeting cards, soaps and other bath products, papermaking, and garlands. In college, I taught myself to knit and began exploring sewing projects that involved boning; I also delved into graphic design.
I still enjoy and practice all of the crafts listed here, and look forward to exploring more in the future.
